Ceftazidime for Injection is used in the treatment of infections caused by susceptible gram-negative bacilli, including septicemia, lower respiratory infectios, cavum abdominal infections, biliary tract infections, complex urinary-tract infections and serious skin and soft tissue infections. It is especially indicated for the immunologic deficiency infection caused by various drug-resistant gram-negative bacilli, nosocomial infection, central nervous system infection caused by gram-negative bacilli or pseudomonas aeruginosa.
